	Job Description:
	An exciting opportunity exists to drive forward banking operations’ journey towards lean excellence. Reporting directly to the head of operational improvement, on a day-to-day basis the successful candidate will facilitate, manage and co-ordinate improvements to key processes in various segments of the business. They will ensure that detailed plans to improve quality, cost and delivery are effectively deployed and delivered to achieve tangible business benefits. This will typically involve leading work streams and identifying opportunities in workshops along with coaching the current flow leader, front line manager and operations management population to apply the lean sigma methodology. This position will require an experienced lean transformation leader who is able to facilitate and drive change in a changing environment, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal skills within this multi-jurisdiction role. The key to success in this position is the ability to work within the sites at all levels utilising a very “hands on” approach to creating value and buy-in as the leading change facilitator across the entire business unit. Some travelling/overnight stays may be required. The candidate will ideally be lean or 6 sigma accredited with a proven background of effective operations management, although further training will be provided where required.
